Marthandam College of Engineering and Technology (MACET) is organized by Marthandam Educational and Charitable Trust specifically to provide quality engineering education to the children from rural areas. Since the inception in 2006, MACET has steadily grown to the level of one of the recognized institutions in Tamil Nadu for its excellent infrastructure and teaching - learning environment. At present, the primary task for the technical institutions is to prepare students to face the global challenges. Technology advancements are taking place at a fast pace and to be effective engineering and technology practitioners in this dynamic situation, the institution has to prepare students with the ability to employ modern techniques, skills, and competencies. The engineers of today need to be good communicators should be able to relate well with others and think critically and creatively. At MACET, it will be a continuous endeavor to provide technically excellent, morally committed and disciplined citizens with intense desire to serve our great country. MACET is a student-centered institution and we encourage students to develop confidence, self-motivation, and problem-solving skill sets so that they will readily respond to the technological challenges facing the country.
